I've tried to follow Joe's eavy metal guide for this figure too, and it's tough.I like the strong blue and purple sheen you have on the armour and the spear is a really nice, simple conversion. The cloak looks rough and the browns seem weak. Good second NMM attempt. You will master it soon.
Not bad but you need smoother transition lines between colors/lights,your highlights especially are too sharp giving to this mini a very "game-ready" look,meaning it doesn't look like much more than a 7 or so...If it's intended just for tabletop use,it's super,if it's for display it's kinda poor..But you're on to something,keep up the good work :)
