Laurana, Sorceress

After seeing a few great results with pastel colors on minis, I wanted to try it myself. Normally, I thought pastel colors just look too weird in fantasy, or sci-fi. But hey, gotta try it out at least once. I'm still not sure about that sea-green belt. It just looks wrong to me to have that much pastels. But it was the only thing that came to mind at the time. :P Hmm... Now that I think about it, perhaps I shouldn't of darklined the mini with black. It's too harsh on the eyes. Or is that the point with pastel palettes? ???

"id like to see maybe some lighter txt on her scroll, just seems like she used a phat black magic marker" - what, you can't write spells in Sharpie? Nice mini, the blacklining seems to be the topic of the day so I'll note that it's a particular style, and it's fine, but it should be consistent. For example her bracers and the straps of her tank top need outlining. Overall it's a very appealing piece though.

I like the pastel experiment, the colors came out very soft. The blacklining makes it look like you were doing a cell for an animation, but only on certain parts of the body.
