Thank you for your kind comment. I agree there should be some contrast, I didn't succeed this time :( I think the painting in itself is good though. About the armour, I wanted to make something that broke up the larger spaces of bare plate. I didn't succeed totally, could have been done more smoothly, but I hope people get the point.
Nice stuff. As I mentioned on my previous comment, I think the face should have cooler tones to better contrast with the armour's warm finish (the face should be a focal point on this model). I'm not sure what effect you were aiming for with the stripy armour. It looks good but as if you were aiming for something more subtle. I think I'd've preferred to have seen the armour all painted like the shoulder pads with a block of colour. Then you could have made the metals pop just a little more with an edge highlight of Mithril Silver.
