Warhammer Lizardmen Thunder Lizard 2nd Place in Armies on Parade 2011
Up for auction is the 2nd place North American Armies on Parade Lizardmen Thunder Lizard. Please check us out on the GW website: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/blogPost.jsp?aId=17700020a&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheGamesWorkshopBlogEN+%28What%27s+New+Today+%40+Games+Workshop%29 This really was a fun to create and see come to life. This beast is 36 inches long and almost 18 inches high. It took 7 months to build and paint. There are over 14 Stegadon kits put into the project not to mention 30 skinks, 6 Skink Priest, 5 Skink Braves, 1 Terradon Rider, 2 Kroxigors, and 1 slann preist. The main platform The Supreme Engine of the Gods has an LED wired into the crystal that makes it glow. Easy access to swap out batteries and a custom shipping crate. There is so much detail on this that it was hard not to post picture after picture here but if you would like I will send you more if needed. I have roughed out Warhammer Fantasy Legend rules for this and it works great in Storms of Magic games or as the Center piece to your Lizardman army. The Display Board will be given for free if you choose the BUY IT NOW price or if the sold price is higher then the "Buy it Now" and will receive free shipping inside the US. Army on Parade Medal and Armies on Parade Finals poster not included in the auction. For a look at the LED light check out this you tube clip made during construction. http://www.youtube.com/user/StrategicCommand1#p/u/5/M_pIXFLvw58 I just wanted to post a message I received from a person I met at Games Day this year: Dear tarfulcrum, This isn't a question, but I would just like to state the credibility of this work. I was there at Games Day 2011 in Chicago and not only got to see this first hand, but also got to talk to you. Pictures do not do this justice. The paint job is very professional - no not 'Eavy Metal quality, but who ever wins this will not be disappointed. The display is so much larger than the pictures portray. Also, you are a very nice person who simply enjoys this gaming hobby. I blindly purchased 2 extra Games Day tickets from you from a Warhammer Forum site, and you were very professional and delivered as promised. I just wanted to lend some credibility to your work and say that this display is well worth the asking price. - lord_cedric_of_sca
