Shapeshifting Strigoi
My entry for the Sotavasara forum's miniature painting competition last spring. And as you can see I've used the super useful GW Crypt Ghoul box again. I wanted to try out something different than the usual tabletop painting style and ended up with quite realistic style (= no extreme highlights, strong contrast etc.). It annoys me though that my camera ate the gentle turquoise OSL coming from above, while it's clearly visible in live... His wing/arm is weirdly posed because I wanted to put it in that stage of transformation where his bones are snapping out of place and muscles are reforming into the giant bat form (Varghulf perhaps?)
