I view the ratings as follows: 1=unpainted and incomplete modification of a part (like a shoulder pad). 2=assembled model, not necessarily painted or primered. 3=primered, but finished model. 4=less than 2 colors on the model, or unpainted base. 5=at least 2 colors on the model and fully finished, with a painted base, and no bare metal/plastic showing. 6=fully painted/assembled model with some shading and attempt at making a better base. 7=here, I want to see pupils in the eyes, and something cool. 8 and above=there needs to be a WOW factor here (that means an unexpected use of a component from another kit, or extensive use of modeling skills). Years back, I was told by many gamers that the army could not be fielded at a games day unless it had at least 2 colors on the model, and a painted base. That is why I use that as my gauge for a 5. Tabletop meaning "for use in tabletop gaming" not "for display on ones tabletop". Based on the description you are giving, you are judging me lower than a 6, which I agree on. The bunker is foam, and I used "stonefleck" spray to get that "concrete" look. the door is silver with black recesses, and the windowed openings are painted black for depth. It is a crappy pic to see all I did to the piece. Thank you for your input though, I was beginning to think noone thought the pic worth commenting on at all.

Tabletop quality suggest some level of basic highlighting / shading. Whilst you have done that for the weapons the actual bunker has no definition and it's quite hard in the pics to see what detail you have made. To be honest when I first looked at the bunker it thought it looked like it's made from carpet tiles. Assuming its expanded polystyrene ...slap some textured emulsion paint on it to seal it and then give it a darker wash in the inside corners to give the shape some definition.

I am not really sure why this is scoring so low. I was under the impression a 5 was "tabletop quality", which I understand as "good enough to use in a game without taking away from the look of the game". If someone would comment and tell me why they think this is scoring so low, I'd appreciate it.
