Conversion using many models trying to come up with a unique Warsmith that would stand out among my other Iron Warrior models. The main body was of Kharn. I removed both of the arms and joints for them as well as the shoulder pads. In their places, I took two of the shoulder pads from the GW IronWarrior Warsmith and hollowed them out so that I could have one for each shoulder. I used the power claw from the GW IW Warsmith and cut out the forearm portion. I then took Kharns 'chains' arm and removed the arm, leaving the chains. I put that in the place of the forearm that I removed from the power claw to add something different to the arm. the head is a plastic berzerker head. The right arm is from a necromunda pit slave arm where i just hooked in a bolt pistol. The servo backpack (which you can't see very well at all) is a combination of Doomriders backpack, a RT era extra power pack, some cables and a servo arm from a normal tech marine.

Jericho, thanks for the comment (from a good amount of time ago :) ). The reason that it looks that way is that he is actually stepping forward with his right foot up onto the rubble. so his right sholder is behind his left sholder. From the front it looks like he is all contorted, I hadn't noticed that before your comment. Thanks.

The pose is the only thing I don't like about this fig. The shoulder on the side with the propped up foot shouldn't be so much lower than the other... he'd have to contort lots to make that work. Pretty solid converting and painting aside from that one thing... the bionics look great :)

Thanks to all who have left comments. Head swap - I used a dremmel and patience to dremmel out a section of the neck so that the head would fit in there snug Teeth - Now that you mention it...lol...you ever see Monty Python? This warsmith is decendent of killer rabbits!!! Green - i'll most likely go back and blunt that green a bit so as to not take away from the res of the mini as much. Also, GrammatonCleric, that movie was sweet!! I modeled an inquisitor model around the main character. Once i get him painted he will be up on the site.
