Nemain Sword Maiden

This is the first mini I have posted on CMON. I was tired of painting women in earthy warrior colors; I wanted to paint some one girly, so here she is. I scultped the stones for the walkway, and then added static grass and dried flowers. This is the first time I have attempted sheer clothing. Please let me know what you think. Also, this is the first time I have tried painting gems, and I enjoyed painting them so much that I found myself looking for places to paint them. Comments are welcome.

Gems: Incredible. Colors: Excellent. Basing: Great. Now for the down side. As been said, the skin is a liitle grainy and could use some highlights. In defense of the hair, thats just the nature of I-core models. Her chest is magnificent (I'd take those square nipples anyday!), but if you were going for a "Sheer" look rather than transparent maybe it could of used a couple of very light pink washes across her breasts. I'm not sure if thats correct though, since I've never attempted that technique. I've seen some incredible "WET t-shirt" stuff on CMON that looks like your looking through fabric. All in all, Graet Job!

Thanks Rachel! I usually don't spend that much time with a base (hate to base!), but this one came out well, I think. These flowers are called caspia, and the color that I used is the natural color. You can also get it dyed, but then it looks fake. I think you'd be better off buying the natural and inking it any color you want. But thanks for the comment! I do truly appreciate it, everyone's comments have helped me improve so much! :)
