Thor_knightmodels artbox 1

artbox for knightmodels. i tried to achieve a sweet smooth effect, to try to enjoy my work on thgis piece based on marko djurdjevik's master artworks.. this time i tried just to focus myself into the thecnical work. after a lot of time investigating and testing some new effects. the richful colours and NMM that provides the piece a very caartoonish looking made me enjoy very much this miniature. i tried some new paints that worked very well on it. i am specially satisfied with the silver armour where i had to take special attention to the perfect blendings considering how the light affect to those volumes each liuttle piece of the armour one by one.. i did a studi of the gradient of light becoming from the source light and trying to achieve a 360 convincing effect i hope that you like it. enjoy best regards

I just wanted to thank you again for the advice you gave me, I've been practicing on my first space marine as the simplicity of the model would allow me to focus on the basics. I tried really hard to achieve a better contrast like you suggested. If it's not too much trouble I'd love to know your thoughts. Oh and will you be posting anything soon? Look forward to your next work. (sorry to keep posting here, But your message inbox is full so cant send private.) Adam

Ahh got it! Thanks a lot. You've been a great help. I'm gonna go away and practice my ass off but I'm sure i'll be back to pick your brains in the near future so please don't give up helping people. I hope one day I can do the same for new starters. Regards.... Adam

if you see for example this miniature.. see the belt across the chest.. it has a fine lightline and also a fine darkline that makes the separation between the chest and belt..it helps the eye to understand all the elements from the first sight
