Space Marines can get drunk, but they have to drink vast amounts of very strong alcohol very quickly as to overload their metabolism. Many stories in codex's over the years discribe this... Marines like to party! Also nice work.
Read the fluff. with some chapters of marines they possess the ability to suppress their resistance to toxins so that they can unwind. in the case of the space wolves they use a chemical additive that temporarily neutralises their ability to filter and break down ingested toxins. The Emperor was not so foolish as to make warriors that could not find cathartic release outside of battle in booze. Cool Mini btw
