BFM Admech Genator
This is one of the Adeptus Mechanicus Genator Figures that you could get in the Battle For Macragge Starter Set. I painted him as a test of some new browns, reds and flesh colours that I picked up from Reaper Miniatures. They made building up to a pure red and a decent flesh tone easy. I snapped this quickly for a mate as a demo so the flesh tones are washed out from the lack of lightbox. I also tried out a new way of doung gunmetal blued guns using, what else, Gunmetal Blue and adding highlights with Ultramarines Blue. I like how he turned out in the end, As I had only ever seen him painted as per the little guide book that came in the box. i.e. Blue shirt/armour, off-white pants, black shoes, silver other bits. (Google for images from Battle For Macragge if you are not familiar). Hopefully I can do something with the other one I have left laying around (I ended up with five in a bits auction). I will try and get my lightbox setup again now that I have finished moving into the new appartment so I can get some better photos.
