It may seem like a slightly odd question, but did you use a primer for this model? And is this miniature a metal one? Because the surfaces of the mini seem rough at places... like the spiked shoulder, or places at his coat... usually that is all smoothed out when spraying with a primer.
The color scheme is ok, however this figure really lacks highlights. I know you did some, but for visible highlights you need to use colors that make their way up to nearly white, that allows all the details to stand out.
He looks like an interesting conversion. I like your choice in weapons. He doesn't look evil though. I first thought it was supposed to be a stormguardian.
I think it's the head, it screams High Elf.
As for the paintjob: it looks a bit flat, like it needs shading. Could be the pics, taking good pics is hard (don't have that down myself).
