Skeleton with a missing arm!

I love this little guy for so many reasons. Firstly, I bought him in a job lot of discarded, unpainted skeletons. Secondly, the poor little bugger was the only broken one in the whole batch and his missing arm was no where to be found. But I had also bought several resin bases that very night, and one of them had a skeletal arm chained to the floor ... and it was the very arm that this little fellow was missing! Suddenly I had this whole story in my head of the little guy literally tearing himself off the floor, leaving his chained arm behind. This was also the first time that I've ever tried to tackle rust and I really think that it came out looking pretty good! Critique most welcome, as I am always looking to grow, improve and evolve!

I just love the story behind Skeleton and the reunion between the ,`missing srm` and its owner. Your use of shading to create red oxides is very sophisticated (considering this was your first attempt). well done! I can see the surface rust and the subsequent disintegration very clearly. The cobolt blue is an affective contrast to the featured rust.
