This is an extreemly good photo. I wish mine were as good. It shows all the imperfections at 4 times the size we would normaly see it. A great way to see what to change to improve your style.
The base is horrible. Smearing on pva and thrusting it into the grass container is never a good method of basing a model.
The models finish is also poor. Looks like it got to close to either a can or primer being used or an airbrush clog blew out on it.

Ew! What is going on with this mini? I don't mind the color scheme but it looks like it got primered with a really low-grade, crappy primer. Lemme guess, Coat 'd Arms or Ral-Partha primer that is about 18 years out-of-date? Then heavy drybrushing doesn't help much. I guess this is fine for gaming, not contests though.
