I don't mind the gold so much, but when you do the studs on the backpack, you should take care to do the studs on the horns and everywhere else, for that matter! - Glyn
Got to echo Laurence's comments; nice choice of colours, but again shading & highlighting needed. Blacklining is a personal choice.
One thing I would suggest is that in some instances "Less is More", a lot of gold, however well painted, doesn't always add to a mini. IMHO I would use the gold as an accent to draw the eye to the other details in the mini.
