Gayle, Spearmaiden - my very first mini

Hi there! As the title says, this is my very first miniature. I tried to paint some 40k miniatures first, but that didn't really work for me. So I decided to give Hasslefree's Gayle a try. I really enjoyed painting her, as there's so much more liberty in naked girls ^^ It took me three days and a lot of advice from my friend to complete her, and I'm quite pleased with the result. I'd even be more pleased with her if I had a better camera... Please let me know what you think. C&C appreciated. Kind regards, Lisa

(6.5-7) A very good start! Some things like the blade are not so well done, but the flesh is really impressive for a beginner. And the purple hair actually looks good, if a little anime-like.

Great Job! The only thing I would change is the rocks on the base they look a little big for running around in high heels.

Not bad, especially for a very first trial. Nice, really. I see you painted her up as clean as it was possible for you at the stage where you are (bloody beginner). Good job :-) My advice would be to deal with outlining next and after you mastered clean outlining, to deal with blending technique, highlighting and so on. But first outlining, because it helps a lot for to define the detail much more and the mini will look immediatly a lot better if it is done well. Keep it up :-)
