Porco Rosso

Porco Rosso from the Miyazaki movie of the same title. It's a plastic figure by japanese kitmaker finemolds. Painted with Acrylics (base coat, shading and details) and Oils (hilites). Figure is 37mm tall.

Thanks Matt. Great advice on painting too, totally agree with it. And yeah man, I got the old tsukuda Nausicaa on the warbird just collecting dust on the shelf. Hope I can get to her soon.

Hahaha, how cool is that...^_^... 37 mm you say... I WANT ONE NOW... It is so cool...^_^... Great Sculpt... Amazing... About your Painting: You could try to achieve more realistic Shadows by using different colors for the Contrast and try to work on more depth... The Uniform looks a bit too Monochrome like this (although very much like Porcos Trousers look like after all...)... You could try not useing 100 % white for the Scarf, but a more Creme coloured one and use White only for the highest Highlight...;)... 10 Points... Now Nausicaä....:D...
