tbh.. I think that the use of red and green are fine.. however in your pic the red seems to be more orange (photo perhaps?). While you have taken the green from very dark up to highlight and done a great job on it, that red (orange) doesnt look right. For me the red needs more depth maybe starting darker and takin up to red with only a little highlight rather than highlighting the red up to much making it appear orange. Red is always a more difficult colour to get right I find :( Anyway some other great stuff in your gallery too. Nice work.
I guess my only question would be - why wouldn't you use these two colors together? They are complementary color choices on the color wheel - meant to be used together. Perhaps I just don't understand color theory. ???
