Blood Angels vs. Orks chessboard
Painted 32 minis in 30 days, all at or above tabletop quality. I had only 4 hours a day to paint each mini. The terrain, unfortunately, came out less than ideal and I only spent one hour on it. The original concept was to have leveled terrain that resulted in more of a valley. But I made the chessboard too small to have enough slope to accommodate everything. Orks: 8 Boyz 2 Nobz 2 Stormboyz 2 Rocket Launcher wielding Orks (not sure of the name) 1 Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun 1 Ork Warboss Blood Angels 8 Tac marines 2 Terminators 2 Sanguinary Guard 2 Chaplains 1 Astorath the Grim 1 Sanguinor The diorama was for a minis painting competition at work. Given we only had a month to complete it, I think painting that many minis solo 4 hours per day was quite an accomplishment given my rather rookie status at painting. I was literally pouring the resin into the river as I was turning it in. >.<
