It's hard to comment much on the paint job itself when there's a picture of several miniatures together. That said, I like that the bases seem to fit together--like a puzzle, when there's a tuft of grass on one edge of a base, it continues on to the base o fhte other. I also like the generally muted browns/blacks combined with a splash of yellow and occasionally red. It makes a pleasing composition. ;)
I have to comment about the guy the 2nd in from the right. I love the expression on his face. He seems to be saying "Oh! How did I get... here?" and looking over at the guy on his right as if for an explanation. His eyes SEEM to be slanted to look that direction, but I could be imagining it. Anyway, he made me laugh (which is why I'm giving it an 8 instead of 7). :)
This looks really nice. But you are quite right. It will probably suffer slightly because of the photo. Perhaps a posting of just one would be an idea?
I really like the base. This attention to detail always looks so much more professional. The faces look really good as well, from what I can see. My only improvement suggestion would be with regard to the photo. I am going to vote twice on this because I don't think it's an 8, from what I can see, but it's more than a 7 IMO. So by voting twice it will be 7.5
