@ jester: thanks for the comment. was tryin to layer a lighter colour but didnt really work. Also tried to blue ink for the shading. Any advice would be really helpful. Many thanks :-)
I like the color scheme, and your clean painting is a good skill for this arena, however, your shading technique is either very limited, or you dipped it.
You should really try to put forth the extra effort of shading and highlighting.
The way you paint so crisp and cleanly in the base colors, your efforts in shading and highlighting would really make your work impressive.
