Yep, the picture is bad, but the dark elf seems to be ok, and the barding of the horse. Maybe if you try a black wash over the gold, blacklining the face of Tyrion and apply some shadows to the horse, you will get a good mini.
Yes, this is a really bad pic and I don't think it does the figure justice. The blue looks nice and smooth, and I like the white pattern. I suggest adding a little dark- or blacklining to the rider, especially between his face and the helmet.
