This is my latest little project that i picked up when i decided to get back into painting. I wanted to keep the colors bright and contrasting and i think it worked out fairly well. I was initially planning to do the sword and shoulder blade in NMM, but got the idea to do the complete opposite and use RMM lol. I polished the blades, trimmed off the extra detail and used Gold-Leaf on them, so in essence theyre real metal metallics lol. The base is made of polystyrene carved to shape, and treated with plastic cement to create the volcanic rock look. lava and bubbles were just a layer of thick school-glue and an airsoft-BB split in half. Also, the hairpiece, IMO, was way too large and covered up too much of the model, so i painted up a banner and topped it with a chaos spike. Anyways, this is the first mini i've put up online, so tell me what you think :D Btw, first time taking pics of any of my minis (usually theyre tucked away in the basement and never see the light of day...but this site has kinda inspired me to show them off a bit). Sorry for the cruddy pic quality, i'll learn how to take better ones as i progress i'm sure.
