Although its cleanly painted there area few things that could help towards improvement. Thinning the metallic paints down so that the grainyness doesn't look so apparent. That will mean additional coats of paint, but will make application of highlights easier. Highlights themselves on colours like red and flesh tones do give a stronger visual impact.
