A long time job, at last over!!! The idea was to depict Vidar, one of Wotan's brothers at the end of Fimbulvetr(a 3years long snowy night, during which" brother shall kill brother"). This period stands just before Ragnarök (twilight of the Gods)... During Ragnarök, Vidar will kill Fenrir, the wolf, hell's keeper. So, the scene takes place at the end of Fimbulvetr (snow is going away) and my character wears a wolf's skin, as a wink to his destiny.... Thus I wanted a cold mythological scenery, with runes(each one has a sense in Vidar's life context!) and nordic atmosphere.... It was a nice painting period, you should try that mini
