the cloak was sculpted with green stuff. the finish on the cloak turned out a lot rougher than i would have liked, does any one know a way of getting a really smooth surface with greenstuff?
thanks for the excellent comment, being that this is a larger picture you tend to see a lot of the harsh transitions that come with not using a great deal of water with blending. Being that this isn't really a display piece i didn't take very much time in painting it, so yes it could be much smoother i couldn't agree with you more. however i'm really digging that you fing the greens and blacks to be ghostly, definitly what i'm going for, very dark. Green stuff can be a pain to work with, but i'm getting better... slowly, i'm hoping to post pictures of the rest of the squad now that the green stuff i ordered from the cmon store has come in!
Your greens and blacks are always ghostly scaring, just it needs to get smoother. Still nice. For the greenstuff: No idea how people can sculpt at all with it, for me its just a sticky clay...
