@MovingTarget128: Quite simple, skull white spray primer, make sure the armour surface , the brushes and the water are very clean (for we don't want particles on the plates), dilute the GW sepia wash with water 1:1 and with a soft large brush take the mix, place the brush tip on paper to drain part of the colour.
The pass the brush directly on the primer swiftly to veil and with a movemento to put more wash in the corners. You must be quick and not drag semi dry wash.
Now that the armour seams bone, add some shadow with a small brush of sepia.
Make a mix of dheneb-bleached and skull white to fix some imperfection and hilight whit little diluted skull white.
In the case of terminators I make a well diluted wash of badab black too to have less flat a miniature and a little more realism.
For the dreadnought I wanted a very shiny and flawless appearance.
Hope it can help.
