Nothing like taking a high res photo of your mini to see all the mistakes you made :) anyway, here is my third mini. still working on different techniques to paint my tyranid swarm. the green was a base laid over with green ink for shading and making it look a bit more shiny than the armour plates. the plates were based brown, then glazed over with a mix of bone and a lot of blending mediumto give a milky look. then i tried out a camo look with a sponge and dark brown ink. im not sure if i like the way it turned out. in any case i need a lot more practice because this guy took days to do and im still not overjoyed in the way it turned out. what do you all think?
