Wolfen Predator, Prédateur Wolfen
This Wolfen predator is completing the pair. I have published the first one at http://coolminiornot.com/pics/pics14/img4ba65aa708c4f.jpg . I really liked the outline of this mini, howling at the moon, and wondered some time how to restitute the feeling. So I have researched through real pictures of wolves the color scheme, and based my painting on one of them. Another innovation was the base, which I made in green stuff, including branches and leaves, to figure the forest atmosphere. Finally and not the least, I have viewed the DVD made by Laurent Exposito, and tried his technique with very watered paints and started to breath between each layer, to reach smoother effects. It multiplied necessary time to paint the mini by 2.5 :-). Comments welcome, as usual.
