Feral Ork Warboss

This is my Feral Ork Warboss for my new 40k army. It has a good deal of conversian work done, and I was looking for some good tips and advice before I painted it. The boar, the body, and the head are all from a fantasy warboss blister. The right arm was taken from a 40k Nob. It's actually a left arm, but I used some "green stuff" (mines white) to make it look good. The banner pole is from the 40k Ork Warboss, and the shield is the front plate of the old-style rhino. The base has been modeled up and includes a 40k barrel, an ork gretchin, and a good deal of putty. Other little pieces range from an iron jaw from the ork boyz sprue, to the tail while is actually from the space wolves sprue, and bolts from a space marine bike wheel (can't be seen in the picture). Like I said, I'm really looking for some comments on this piece. I know how most people feel about unpainted minis, and I plan on taking this one down as soon as I get enough feedback. Any ideas on how to paint him would be highly welcomed too. Thanks for everything, Have fun! -Pellimore

I like the rhino door for a shiled, but I think you should ditch the chain. A good scheme for Snakebite feral orks are tans and either warlock purple, or tan, striking scorpion blue and red. Think native American. could use a good face paint too, but not tooo over the top. Stick with a simple color scheme and let the detail of the model show. Nice mini.
