Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought - Forgeworld
This is my latest project. It is such a nice miniature from Forgeworld. I've added some extra details from the SW brass etched sheets and resin icon packs from Forgeworld, to help make the standard arms tie in with the main body more. He comes with 5 different magnetised right arms (for every killin' occasion :)). I was asked to give him a flamer for the weapon on his torso, so I did a simple conversion to the standard storm bolter using a normal plastic SM flamer. The banner depicts the battle/seige of a fortress where he received the mortal wounds as a wolf guard. With the EM guides in WD recently I thought it would be a good opportunity to push myself and my freehand. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Hope you like him, all comments welcome. Wil :)
