Paladins of Alahan
I have painted these 3 Alahan paladins to experiment gold NMM. These minis have a lot of surface and details, to experiment techniques and probe their effect. Base colour is P877 Gold Brown, lightened with white. Of course, shading techniques with very weight paint and progressive rendering are keys. So well, I did my best, and I guess my way of painting is the same for the 3. For the first mini is on the left, I did it what seemed most natural for me: I used P877, with progressive white lightning, and darkened with P822 German Cam. Black Brown. For the second mini, I decided to keep to the colour scheme, with less dark areas, and going further in white colours. For the last mini, I have completed the base colour with different set of yellow colours, and have added some other colours in the dark (Citadel snake bite leather, etc.) Conclusions, you can have your own. As for me, I think that first try gives the best ratio between result and effort. Comments welcome, as usual
