Royal Guard of Alahan
It's my 5th miniature work, After finished last two OSL-Theme minis,I attempted to try something new on my next work. But,after watching the movie:Avatar,I changed my mind, I dont have lots to say about the movie itself,cause i don`t like it exactly,but the amazing lighting effects deeply impressed me. so I can`t help doing the magnificent style one more time¡¡ The colour scheme is partly inspired by a concept art, I put a Orange-Yellow sunset light at the upper back of the figure,it works with the dull-green light from the magical stones on the ground to create a chaotic atmosphere. I set the figure in the middle of a heated battle against evil, so I give him a enhanced sword which have a cool-white glow. I think it gives him a righteous feeling which fits the whole sculpture well. PS:this mini is a third-hand gift form my friend¡¡ so there are so many tiny flaws and damage on details and corners that difficult to recover¡¡:( if u find them£¬please be selective blindness :)
