Henir Bjornsson, True-Scale Space Wolf
This model is a truescale marine made based on Lamenter's tutorial at MasteroftheForge.com. (If you are a fan of the hobby I suggest taking a look, he is really quite brilliant) Using the basic principles I attempted to make a true-scale Space Wolf. This is my first try. For those who don't know: "truescale" means that the model is scaled up or down to reflect proper proportioning compared to regular humans in the fiction of the universe. In Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines are meant to be roughly 8 feet tall due to extensive genetic modification. This model would measure about 7.5-8 feet tall (assuming the other model next to him was 6ft) in the "real world" There are more to come, I plan on making a full army of truescale Space Wolves and running them as "Wolfwing" (A Space Wolves army lead by Logan Grimnar in which every marine is a Wolf Guard equipped with terminator armor) Please rate the sculpt- I just finished him today and intend on painting him over the next few weeks, after which I will take this picture down and re-post the painted version.
