Marius Leitdorf, Elector Count of Averland
Here is another piece for an Empire army made for commission for a polish private collector. About painting: The customer request was to made Marius madness in pinkish variation. I made a google research to collect pictures for my stylesheet. After that I worked with violet-yellow color scheme which I break for contrast with black and deep blue, to add some noble feel. As a funny experiment I decided to paint swords in pink hues but in that way that he will be still recognized as a dangerous warrior. At the end I added small non-warhammer touch - a symbol of the "Eye of Providence" on horse head, which in my opinion greatly emphasis the atmosphere of this mad elector. Once more I decided to go for a metallic paints in a nmm technic and I`m quite satisfied how it went out. Do not hesitate to leave a comment. Cheers, Szary
