Chaos Troll - Silver GD2009 Oz

I was very happy to receive a silver demon for my Chaos Troll at this years 2009 Australin Golden Demon. Everyone seems to have commented it was a big departure from my usual painting style (of strong primary colours and being rather bright) and I have to agree. I was hoping to slightly emulate the French painting style (or at least what the French style seems to encapsulate to me anyway... ;) ). I Enjoyed painting it and liked the end result but I don't know how much I can see myself utilising that colour scheme again in the near future. As always, comments and feedback welcome :)

thats amazing. your sculpting is a very nice contrast from GD style and your painting doesnt lack anywhere. id like to see some close ups its an extremely unique mini :)

Love it proper chaos troll... I can look at it imagine painting it and then imagining not wanting to put myself through it again.. I like your usual style personally but this is cool...
