My first time painting weapons other than metal colours -not quite NMM I guess but I'm pleased with the results. The purple cloak shows my first real attempt at blending with the 'juices method'. Still need some work, but way better than I've ever done it with other blending techniques and quite watchable at normal viewing distance.

thx -and I agree. Thats why I started layering in some dark green tones but it doesn't show up well in the photo.

Smooth blending, nice weapon. Although the colours fit together, imho the blade is a little bit to blueish.
