I have a soft spot for the dark elves, what can I say. :) I only half-liked this sculpt until I got the idea to add the tentacles and the eyes on the back. I was really pleased with the way it turned out, though I got so frustrated I nearly threw it across the room more than once. I tried to get a more 3D effect on some of the smaller nmm parts like the rivets on the mask and the small steel ball on his belt. Painting the sword as a NMM/tentacle combo was also a challenge and I'm still not 100% happy with it. I took it to GD, but it didn't win a demon as the judges liked it overall but felt the eyes on the back didn't fit. I considered reworking and re-entering it but I think I like the eyes so will have to come up with something new for next year. :) Zach
