I painted this over four years ago, and frankly I remember it being much, much better. When I compare it to my more recent work I think I have just become much better.
I agree that your work has improved greatly. The biggest issue with this guy is the tunic shouldn't be shaded on the highest part on his left leg.
I just painted this guy myself, and I have a similar barrel. Mine was from the Gorkamorka box. Yours the same?
