Yes it's a nice idea indeed, actually i can't see why this is games-workshop stuff related stuff. Most of the dwarfish character is lost also. Maybe you can redefine some dwarf elements on the plain. Glyphs or something else. Be creative, alway and have fun!
Awesome idea,.Are you going to use this as a gyrocopter? The conversion looks great and so does the paintjob. Maybe you should add a flying base if you intend to use this in gaming. I am also mot sure why you added the small gear/wheel on the back of the plaine because it rather hurts the look of the whole thing. The dwarf is great.
