I love this mini, and I was not sure where to take it. I had the trigger with the achievement of K'Dar here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/186212. Much too dark for me, I launched myself into trying to bring the color (especially NMM gold Party ). I had a problem by trying the technique "préombrage". (Too far, and you guess the grainy side layer). Anyway, I feel I'm progressing and it is thanks to you all. Your comments are welcome. best regards Rag.

Hm the face is really well done and I see that you put really your heart into your paintjobs but I have to mention that the nmm has really to few contrast. Nmm steel is almost black until white and nmm gold is very, very dark brown until white. That's the whole range of colours you have to bring on a very small area. I know that is hard to do, but keep on trying :-)

It's a really nice work, the details stand out in a good manner and the base is weel developed. It's a shame that most parts of the mini have that grainy effect you pointed out, apart from that I can suggest to enhance the contrasts on some of the NMM parts, particularly on gold and the silver pauldron, and maybe adding some more light spots on the frontal parts of the blue armour, which seems different in tone compared to the back parts. well, hope to see other works from you soon, I'm glad you took my work as inspiration, thanks a lot! ciaoz
