Thelwell pony
This is a little diorama I made for my partner's birthday. The pony is from Hasslefree and I sculpted the rider and tack myself. It's inspired by the cartoons of Norman Thelwell and the little girl is modelled on our daughter. When she went for her first riding lesson last year she bounced around on the saddle like she had a rubber bottom and enjoyed every minute of it so the cartoon seemed appropriate. The rider is held up by a bit of wire but I've photoshopped it out (naughty Dave) Normally you can't see it but the photo was making it too obvious.
