card drop pod

this is my drop pod all the card parts are finished it needs some paper cylinders on the bottom edge of the struts, also needs filling , priming then obviously painting. hope you like. please add comments. id also like to know what you would of done differently or if you have any other ideas to make my model better. for example i have not added rivets i have no idea what i could use for these any 1 have an idea about this id really like to know.

looks great, the best thing for rivets, is to use elmers glue, just dab very small controled dots over the model and let them dry, sometimes you have to do it twice, but you get good looking circle rivets. Also you can use ceral box, and cut small thin strips to cover up the exposed card board. nice work

Hi, my tip for rivets: I use a tool, which is called "Locheisen" here in our craft stores.It is like a tube with a hole at one side, which is sharpened. the other side is hit with a hammer, so it stamps out little circles. these things are available in different diameters and I use them for all my ork stuff. Hope you can find this thing.
