Veteran Marines

Members of a squad of marine veterans that were part of my 2002 Toronto GT army. Lots of conversions throughout with a gritty, utilitarian feel, which I think I pulled off.

Thanks for the comments all. None of these helmets are based on beakie helmets actually. I used mk7 helmets as there's alot less plastic to shave down before I can start sculpting. I ended up making about 40 or so variations on these faceplates for the full army.

Yay! You converted a beakie to something not ugly! Actually, you've made it quite cool. (I hate beakies) Anyways, excellent job. You did pull off what you were hoping to accomplish, quite well.

Nice paint job and great conversion. I like conversions that look like something which could happen rather than just sticking huge wings on things. How did you do the noses? Were they originally beakies?
