For some reason I've been itching to paint a Heresy-Era Dark Angel for a while now, so I made it my project between coursework for over my Easter break. I've tried out a few new techniques on this mini and, while they are far from perfect, I think they've come out well - it's been fun to paint and a good learning exercise. Please excuse the odd stray pixel, I'm still getting to grips with GIMP.

Good for you! Pushing your boundaries with challenging projects is by far the best way to improve ones skills. The bent knees aren't perfect, but I've seen far worse. The sculpting shows promise and the NMM is a strong start. My main gripe is the position of the head, which makes the beakie marine look even more like a womble than usual...
