Crimson Raptors - Crimson Knight (Grey Knight Justicer)
Well what can I say, I really love the new Grey Knight models. Have to be some of the best Space Marines GW has made. So a little background for the Crimson Knights. They are Grey Knights who came to understand why the Crimson Raptors fight both Chaos and the Imperium and view them both as great evils. They joined the Crimson Raptors as ellite units, very limited in numbers as Deamonhunters don't particularly like deserters. The red helms represent the innocent blood the Imperium has spilt enforcing their doctrines and the blood of all Raptors who have fought for Man. CR motto: Make no mistake we do not fight for the Imperium. We fight for Man! The gold NMM represents the purity of the human spirit. Typical CR colors call for dark blue armor, but I wanted to maintain some representation of the Grey Knights but didn't want to use Mithril Silver or Chainmail metalics so I went with a base of Shadow gray and highlighted up through multiple layers of Space Wolves Gray and Skull White. Comments welcome and desired. Hopefully if the other 4 and my Crimson Champion (Emperor's Champion) turn out I might try and enter GD 2003 in Chicago with them as a squad. Not sure if I'm ready though, or if I'll be finished.
