Lord of Khorne

So, it's finally done. My army general for WHFB. I most pleased with the juggernaut itself. I was afraid i might botch the whole thing when i first began painting it. But i'm very happy with how the beast turned out. The rider then, well... I'm not quite as happy with him as with the mount. But i'm not displeased either, i just wish i hadn't been in such a hurry when finishing him. So, what have i learned? Patience and focus and most of all water down your paints! And of course layers, layers and more layers. Comments are welcome as always.

The teeth and eyes are actually painted, the pics just don't show it that well. The teeth are brass colored and the eyes are just black with a thin white edge for a "shark eye" look. Will work on covering the base coat more in the future. On this one the coat was quite thick at some places, that's mainly the reason to why it shows. No excuse for cheating though.

Why aren't the teeth/eyes on the juggernaut painted? You also need to cover the black basecoat better. The fact that it is showing through, makes some colour blendings (mainly the red parts) look sloppy. I can however see that you have grasped the technique of blending (from what I can see, your transitions are well painted).

The juggernaut looks good, but the lord himself is a bit blurry. I miss some contrast.
