see the thing is, you blend all the highlights well, except the edge highlight isent blended and it looks kinda thick. try to build even the edge highlight up in layers.

Very nice, I particularly like the NMM, the snow on his cape and the blending on the shield! The bloodstains on the cape and on the ground are nice touches also.

Just seen this in the EM painting comp. gallery. Your NMM is superb! The axe and the blood on it is very well done too. I had to really look hard to see if it was metallics or not. Top job! :) Wil
