Najara

Najara is a Player Character cleric in a weekly D&D game I run. I had killed off the old group with a dragon ... now I have to paint their replacements. The players choose their minis and I paint em. I like her pose, but the more I worked with the figure the more defects in the cast I found. She has almost no chin. She has a cleft palette (I put a LOT of highlight into it to try and hide it). ... and she only has 4 toes on her right foot! Nonetheless there is something about her I like. When I get the guts I will try and make the actual holy symbol of Najara's diety on her staff. For now it was enough to do the blended staff. As you can see I do not much go in for pop and glitz. I wanted her to be a clean, simple figure. Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Kevin

I like it. Perhaps a bit greater range between the hi and lo ligts on both dress and flesh might have been worth considering.

Very nice colors....skin, hair and clothing are in harmony. Wonderful job in camouflaging defects and hair is especially good. D.Faye Nail

A gorgeous paintjob on a not so great figure :) Your colour choices are wonderful! My only critique is that her dress looks a little flat.
