I did this along with a Necron lord as an excercise in Snow/Ice techniques. The Necron crystals were hand made...not fun or cheap.

The stand is a woodend display base with a very thick dowel rod running into the center of the model.

The monolith alon is not 500.00. It's for a group of Necron stuff. :)
